Kalahari Neon

photoluminescent decorative effect visible in the dark

Kalahari Neon is a photoluminescent structural paint for interiors. Its luminescent fillers store natural or artificial light and release it after dark, creating a glowing effect on the decorated surface.

In daylight, the texture resembles fine desert sand, with a white satin appearance and a sense of depth. Different application and modelling techniques can create different decorative effects.

The product is ready to use and is applied in one coat. The photoluminescent effect can remain visible for up to 3-4 hours, depending on prior exposure to light.

Application technique

Step-by-step application

  1. Apply Initium base coat to a clean and dry surface.

  2. Apply Kalahari Neon with a brush using irregular strokes.

  3. After a few minutes, begin modelling the surface until the desired effect is achieved.
